专家简介：陈士平博士，多年来一直从事分布式系统尤其是大型电子商务系统软件架构方面的研究。他在国际刊物和会议上发表了60多篇有关的学术论文(多被SCI或在EI索引)，并在国际权威计算机技术网站上发表多篇关于中间件技术的评估报告。近年来，他一直通过讲课和带博士生等方式与悉尼大学保持着密切的合作，为此，自2006起一直被悉尼大学聘为客座教授。另外，他还积极参加国际学术交流，多次应邀担任其研究领域(软件工程，WEB服务，云计算)的顶级国际期刊和会议的评委和主席，包括IEEE Transaction on Service Computing，Elsevier JSS，WWW, ICSE，ICWS, ICSOC, SCC，IEEE CLOUD. 他当前的研究兴趣和方向是：WEB服务，服务计算(Service Computing)，数据安全和可信计算。关于他的具体研究成果和联系方式，请访问：http://www.visualcv.com/shiping
内容简介：Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) has been widely adopted by industry as a new paradigm to deliver services across the Web. As a result, a variety of new concepts are proposed to advocate this new paradigm, such as Data as a Service (DaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) etc. These concepts are prompting a large amount of (web) services to be deployed across the Internet. These services can be further ‘mashed-up’ to build new and more services/applications. This is paving the way to the next generation web - service web, and the new collaboration platform - cloud. In this talk, Dr. Chen will give an overview of the state of art of the service computing and cloud computing in terms of technologies and applications; point out a list of key research challenges in this area. Then he will present his past and current research work conducted at CSIRO.
